Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested six suspected members of an inter-city robbery gang from Dhour Beribadh area of Dhaka.
RAB Deputy Director (media) Assistant Superintendent Of Police (ASP) Sujoy Sarkar said the robbers were arrested in a special drive by RAB 1 while they were robbing a house using fake identification of Detective Branch (DB) of Police.
A media briefing will be held at RAB 1 office in Dhaka's Uttara around 11:30am on Wednesday.
RAB also seized firearms, bullets, DB jackets, wireless sets, handcuffs and fake police identity cards from their possession.
