The business studies faculty of Dhaka International University (DIU) organized a discussion meeting aimed at celebrating the International Mother Language Day in a befitting manner.
DIU Assistant Professor Siddique Alam chaired the event at an auditorium at its Banani campus at 2pm on Thursday.
Registrar Prof Rafiqul Islam, Assistant Professor of business administration Dr Mizanur Rahman, Assistant Professor Bazlur Rahman and Additional Registrar Shah Alam Chowdhury among others spoke the event recalling the sacrifices of the martyrs and veterans of the 1952 Language Movement.
