A fire has broken out at the Petrobangla (Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation) headquarter in Kawran Bazar area of Dhaka.
The fire originated at the building around 9:26am on Saturday, Fire Service and Civil Defence control room duty officer Ershad Hossain told Dhaka Tribune.
He said seven firefighting units went to the spot and extinguished the blaze around 10:10am.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
