Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam has paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman.
Shafiqul met Dr Akhtaruzzaman at his office in the university on Monday.
Among others, Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit chief Md Monirul Islam, and DU Proctor Dr AKM Golam Rabbani were present at that time.
During the meeting, they discussed issues regarding security and law and order inside DU campus.
The VC thanked the DMP commissioner for paying the courtesy call.
