A new born baby girl has been left abandoned at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
The baby girl was born to Nahar and Rasel at 5am at DMCH on September 13.
Confirming the matter, DMCH Assistant Director Dr Nasiruddin said: "The parents have not been seen since last night [September 14]. The baby is healthy, and is currently in the pediatric ward."
The doctor added: “If the parents do not return, or if no one else makes a claim on the child, we will follow the necessary protocol and hand over the baby to Chotomoni Nibash."
