Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said there will be an investigation on the business syndicates, and necessary steps will be taken if it is found that the price of rawhides have been manipulated.
He made the statement during a press briefing at the Secretariat Wednesday morning.

The minister said: "I do not know whether the prices have been manipulated, as the collection and selling of rawhides is not yet complete.
"Animals will be sacrificed even today [Wednesday] and there will be more rawhides to sell."
