Fire-fighters have put out a fire that had broken out at the Korail slum in Dhaka’s Mohakhali area.
Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters Station Officer Ataur Rahman said the fire broke out around 10:30pm on Saturday.
However, five fire-fighting units doused the blaze around 11:30pm.
No casualties were reported.
The fire-fighters were yet to determine the cause of the fire and the extent of damage.
