Senior Awami League leader and Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Panel Mayor 1 Md Osman Gani’s body is to be brought back to Dhaka from Singapore at 11:40am Sunday.
His first namaz-e-janaza will be held after Zohr prayers at Gulshan’s Azad Mosque, according to DNCC public relations officer ASM Mamun.
The body will then be placed in front of Nagar Bhaban for people to pay their respects to the departed soul.
His second namaz-e-janaza will be held after Asr prayers at the Badda Alatunnesa High School field, following which he will be buried at Banani graveyard.

On September 22, Md Osman Gani died while undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital around 8:30am Bangladesh time.
Gani was 69 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife and four sons.
The DNCC panel mayor had left Dhaka for Singapore on August 14 this year.
DNCC prayed for the departed soul of Osman Gani and conveyed condolences to his bereaved family in a Facebook post on Saturday.
