PM Hasina spends time with BAB leaders, families

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina spent some time with leaders of the Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) and their families at the lawn of her official Ganabhaban residence on Tuesday afternoon. BAB leaders including the chairmen, managing directors, and chief executive officers of different banks were present along with their spouses. BAB Chairman Nazrul Islam Mazumder, also chairman of EXIM Bank, led the delegation. The prime minister arrived at the venue at about 5 pm and went around different tables exchanging pleasantries with the guests. The BAB chairman and Waseqa Ayesha Khan, member of the National Parliament elected from a reserve seat of Chittagong, spoke on the occasion. Artists presented a 'jarigan' highlighting the developments, success stories and achievements of the Awami League-led government at the event. Various ministers, prime minister's advisers, parliament members and senior officials of the Prime Minister's Office and Ganobhaban were present.
