Hannan Shah’s wife hospitalised with burns

Rezaul Hannan, son of the 67-year-old victim, apprised the Dhaka Tribune of the incident. He said she was heating food in the kitchen when her saree caught fire from the stove. She was immediately taken to the burn unit at DMCH. Doctors have assessed she has 9% burns around her head and neck area, with inhalation burns as well. She has been kept in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
