Ex-Guns N' Roses guitarist to perform in Dhaka Rock Fest 2017

Ron Thal, alias Bumblefoot, formerly with "the most dangerous band in the world" Guns N' Roses, is visiting Bangladesh on September 15 to take part in Dhaka Rock Fest 2017. His association with Guns N' Roses from 2006-2014 saw him replace guitar virtuoso Buckethead and work on Chinese Democracy. Ron will be taking the stage at Russian Cultural Centre with six talented local artists who will be chosen by the organisers through a contest online.Bumblefoot is by no means the first Guns N' Roses member to perform in Dhaka. In October 2015, Gilby Clarke, former rhythm guitarist of GnR, visited Dhaka for a memorable performance.

Bumblefoot's 2015 album "Little Brother Is Watching" album is an experimental rock classic widely lauded for its innovative approach. The album was composed, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Bumblefoot at his own studio, and includes a crowd of 100 fans stomping, chanting and singing backing vocals recorded at a listening party in New York. The album peaked at #4 on Amazon.com Rock charts globally.
