A seventh grade girl was allegedly raped at Senab village under Kauraid union in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur District on Thursday night.
The victim, who is 12 years old, is a student of Lakchatal Islamia Dakhil Madrasa.
Sub-inspector (SI) Al-Amin of Sreepur police said the elder brother of the girl had filed a complaint with the police station against Mehdi Hasan, son of Abul Hossain, Villain Mia, son of Sendar Ali, Suman, son of Intaj Ali and Babu Mia, son of Sohrab Hossain, all of the same village, for raping her.
