Assailants have hacked an electrician to death in Madhabpur upazila in Habiganj.
The deceased is Johir Uddin, 60, son of Kalu Mia of Haura Baghasura village.
Johir was injured when assailants hacked him while he was going to his work on Thursday morning.
Later, he died under treatment at Habiganj sadar hospital in the afternoon.
Madhabpur OC Mola Monir Hossain said they are trying to arrest the culprits.
