The members of the Armed Police Battalions (APBn) with the help of customs officials have arrested three people with 600-gram gold from the Canopy 1 area of Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport in Dhaka.
Nasrin Akhter, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of APBn, said three persons were arrested in separate drives Monday night and Tuesday morning, reports BSS.
The arrestees were identified as Mohammad Hafiz, 28, Abu Bakar Mia, 42, and Mohammad Faruk, 28, she added.
Separate cases were filed with the airport police station in this connection.
