A ward level Jubo League leader has been shot by the miscreants in the capital.
The injured is Md Mollah Arif, 30, joint secretary of Jubo League, ward no 2 in the capital.
Sub-Inspector Fakhrul Islam of Khilgaon police station said Arif was shot by some miscreants near Jorpukur Math area of north Goran when he was on his way to home around 8:15pm on Wednesday.
One Kurban Ali rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 9:10pm, he added.
However, he could not ascertain the reason behind the attack. He said the attack might be took place over previous enmity.
Sentu Chandra Das, assistant sub-inspector of DMCH outpost, said he saw several bullet spots in the victim’s body.
