Police detectives have detained a woman and her son in possession with 3kg hemp near a petrol pump at Khardar village in Bagerhat sadar upazila.
The detainees are Beauty Begum, 45, and her son Robin Sheikh, 26.
Bagerhat DB police SI Abu Siddique said the duo were held during a drive on Monday midnight.
He said a case was filed against them under Narcotics Control Act.
