Police have recovered two children bodies from Gazary forest located inside Bhawal National Park in Gazipur.
They were identified as Navil and Nazmul Hasan, sons of Shamsul Haq, hailed from Nandail of Mymensingh.
Sub-Inspector of Hotapara police outpost under Joydebpur police station Rafiqul Islam said locals found the bodies lying in the forest and informed the police on Monday morning.
Later, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies and sent them to Gazipur Shahid Taz Uddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police suspected that the children were strangulated to death by miscreants and left in the forest.
A case was filed with Joydebpur police station in this connection.
