Police have arrested two activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) with 27 crude bombs from the capital's Lalbagh area.
The arrestees are Bellal Hossain, 22, and Al Resalaat, 24.
Lalbagh OC Moniruzzaman said: “Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a drive at a residence in Lalbagh and arrested them around 9:30am Monday.”
Meanwhile, the law enforcers also recovered 6,200gm explosives, including gunpowder, potassium and sulphur from the house.
