Police have recovered a body of a house help hanging in a doctor's house at Tapoban residential area in Sylhet.
The deceased, Sarifa alias Sufia, worked as a house help at the residence of Medicine specialist at Osmani Medical College Hospital Dr. SMIH Jalali at House no. 100 in Akhalia Tapoban area of the city.
Dr. Jalali and his wife lived in the house.
SI Rabiul Islam Masum of Lamabajar police outpost said police recovered the hanging body of Sufia at 12pm on Saturday from the house of SMIH Jalali, breaking the door.
“The room was locked from the inside. Her body was found hanging.”
Her body was sent to Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, the police official said.
