The miscreants have left a child’s body, carrying in a luggage, in a running bus in the capital.
Banani OC Bhuiyan Mahbub Hossain confirmed the incident to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said some miscreants, in disguise of passengers, got on a bus of Desh Bangla Paribahan with a luggage and they got down from the bus at Kakali of Banani in the capital at 5:30pm on Monday, leaving the luggage.
Seeing the luggage, the passengers doubted that it might be left for subversive act. They told the driver to stop the bus and check the luggage.
At one stage, the driver halted the bus at Kakali and opened the luggage. Then, they saw a body of child kept inside the luggage.
On information, police rushed to the spot and took the body in the police station.
Later, the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police held bus driver, helper and also seized the bus.
