Miscreants have hacked a young man to death at Balaishpur village under Lakshmipur sadar upazila.
The deceased is Sohel Rana, son of late Rofiq Ullah.
Police recovered the body near a canal of the village around 9:30am on Saturday.
Lakshmipur sadar OC Iqbal Hossain said the body was sent to sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
Assistant Police Super Nasim Mia said Sohel was accused in several cases including murder.
He said police were investigating the killing incident.
