Police have arrested seven activists of BNP and militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team for a sabotage plan to be carried out in different places of the capital city.
Of the seven, six were BNP activists while one was a member of Ansarullah Bangla Team, said Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), reports BSS.
They were held from different places of the capital during a 24-hour drive continued till Tuesday morning.
The arrests were made for planning subversive activities on the third day of the 72-hour nationwide hartal, called by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
