Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel have seized 1, 00,000 yaba tablets worth around Tk3 crore near India boarder at Comilla.
BGB-10 seized the contraband pills from India border near North Surjyanagar area of Model Sadar upazila of the district on Wednesday late night.
Captain of BGB-10 battalion Lieutenant Colonel Zakir Hossain endorsed the information to journalists on Thursday.
After being tipped-off a BGB team conducted a special drive in the area and seized the drugs.
Sensing presence of the BGB personnel the smugglers managed to flee the scene, he added.
Later, BGB recovered 1, 00,000 Yaba tablets from the spot in an abandoned state and the price of the yaba tablets is estimated at Tk3 crore, the official said.
