Police have arrested 11 activists of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Jamaat-e-Islami from different parts of the district.
They were arrested between Sunday night and Monday morning following their suspected subversive activities, police said.
The arrestees include Sailkupa upazila Jamaat Ameer Liakat Ali, Jhenaidah municipality unit Juba Dal joint secretary Abu Sayeed.
The others were arrested from Kaliganj and Harinakundu.
Police super Altaf Hossain said they were produced before a magistrate court on the day.
