Customs intelligence has arrested three persons including a staff of Bangladesh Biman from Shahjalal International Airport for their suspected link in gold smuggling.
The arrestees are Biman employee Murad Hossain, 36, Saidur Rahman, 48, and Reaz Uddin, 24.
Mainul Khan, director general of customs intelligence said the trio were arrested in in possession with a private car at the airport on Friday night.
Efforts are on to recover the smuggled gold bars, he said.
