A case has been filed against 30 BNP-Jamaat leaders and activists including the chairman of Shalikha upazila on charge of torching a bus.
Shalikha police station OC Biplob Kumar Nath filed the case on Thursday afternoon.
Shalikha upazila Chairman Mojaffar Hossain Tuku and Vice Chairman Ibrahim Hossain were made accused in the case among the 30 opposition activists.
According to the case record, a bus was torched in Arpara area under Shalikha upazila of Magura on Wednesday night.
So far police arrested two accused in the case. The arrestees are Golzer and Shukur.
The BNP-led 20-party alliance has been observing a nonstop nationwide blockade programme since January 5.
