89 BNP men sued in Tangail

A case has been filed against 89 leaders and activists of BNP and its associate bodies in Tangail on charge of vandalism and obstructing police from performing duties during blockade programme.

Sub-Inspector Rojob Ali of Ghatail police station filed the case on Sunday night.

Officer-in-Charge Mokhlesur Rahman said police detained nine BNP activists in this connection.

The detainees are Asaduzzaman Khokon, 28, Toiyob Ali, 34, Ariful Islam, 18, Abdul Alim, 40, Doraj Ali, 35, Shahjahan Mia, 45, Mohiuddin, 36, Jahangir Alam, 35, and Idris Hossain, 28.
