A crude bomb attack has injured a government official in Feni on Friday night.
The injured official is Abdul Quader, Nazarat Deputy Collector of the district.
Officer-in-Charge (Operation) of Feni Model police station Mahabub Morshed informed the incident to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said: "Unidentified miscreants hurled crude bomb to Abdul Quader's car around 9:30pm while he was patrolling in S.S.K Road of the town."
NDC Abdul Quader injured in the attack and he was rushed to Uposhom Private Clinic immediately, he added.
Additional police were deployed and operations are underway to arrest the criminals, the OC said.
