Prisoner escapes from Dhaka Medical College Hospital

A prisoner, receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), has escaped from the hospital. Sujon was accused in a case filed under Narcotics Control Act. He was admitted to the Burn and Plastic Surgery unit of DMCH on Tuesday. He was admitted to the Burn and Plastic Surgery unit of DMCH from Dhaka Central Jail on Tuesday. He fled from the hospital dodging two prison guards around 5:30am on Wednesday, said DMCH police outpost Sub-Inspector Md Bachchu Mia. The officer said the prison guards were closed due to their negligence in duties.
