Police have recovered the bodies of two infants in a bag from a drain at Dighirchar area under Gazipur City Corporation on Monday.
Sub-inspector Syed Abul Hashem of Jaydevpur police said the locals saw the bag in the afternoon beside a road in Dighirchar.
They came to see the bodies of two infants after opening the bag.
Being informed by the locals police recovered the bodies around 4pm, the police official said.
The bodies were sent to the morgue at Gazipur Sadar Hospital, he said.
Both the infants were boys, and police suspect they were twins.
