A mobile court has sentenced four fake doctors to different terms of imprisonment during a drive at Jamalpur town.
The convicts are, Bimal Biswas of Bani Medical; Shah Alam of Bengal Dental care; SM Jahangir of Ma-moni dental care; and Rupom Deb of Dayamoyi dental care.
The mobile court led by executive magistrate Md Shafiqul Islam along with additional police super also company commander of Rab-14 and Dr KM Shafiquzzaman conducted the operation throughout the Jamalpur town on Saturday.
Meanwhile, some pharmacies were fined for out of date and unregistered medicines.
The pharmacies are Sunrise, Usman, Radia and Rubel medical hall, Ma, Aral and Shipra medicine centers and Sarika drug house.
