Miscreants have snatched a private car after shooting its driver to death at Banasree in capital's Rampura early Monday.
The deceased is Faruk Khan, 28, who hailed from Bagerhat.
Mostafizur Rahman, operation officer of Rampura police station, said miscreants shot Faruk in front of Banasree Jame Masjid around 3am and fled with the private car.
He said locals informed police hearing the gunshot.
Being informed, police rushed in and recovered the body from the spot.
