An elderly man has died six hours after he suffered fatal injuries during a bomb attack at Chotoputimari village of Alamdanga upazila in Chuadanga yesterday.
Seventy-year-old Musar Uddin of the village died at Sadar hospital around 7am, said Alamdanga police station Officer-in-Charge Moniruddin Molla.
Some 10 criminals were passing by his house around 1am when he curiously asked them who they were and came under a bomb attack by them, he said, quoting the victim’s family members. Police visited the place of occurrence and collected evidence items from there. No case was filed the victims’ family with police until filing of this report at 5am.
