Meanwhile, family members of Hakim claimed that RAB did not hand over Hakim to them and they have no clues where he is staying now. Hosney Ara, sister of Payel, said: “Whatever crime Payel had committed we wanted his body for a proper burial but the law enforcers did not give his body to us.”
Josna, sister of Payel, who had paid Payel’s educational costs, said: “Payel along with his classmate Hakim had visited home nearly six months ago.”
However, Hakim’s mother Sufia Begum claimed that Hakim does not know militant Payel. “Hakim left Dhaka for Azerbaijan on June 30 this year,” said Sufia.
Besides, Hakim during his surrender on October 5 said he and Payel were classmates and went to Dhaka for getting admitted to JnU and that he got into militancy through Payel.
