Detective Branch of Police have arrested two persons for their alleged involvement with the bomb attack threat in the Chittagong Court building.
The arrestees are Nasir, 45, and his brother-in-law Salahuddin.
Engineer Hasan Chowdhury, additional deputy commissioner of DB in Chittagong, told the Dhaka Tribune that they were detained held on Sunday evening.
He said detail regarding the matter will be disclosed at the press conference later in the day.
On October 14, security measures in the Chittagong court building and adjacent areas were tightened as an alleged JMB activist threatened a lawyer over the phone to launch suicide bomb attack in the court building.
The lawyer lodged a general diary with Kotwali police station immediately after receiving the call.
A total 75 different courts are housed in the Chittagong Court Building while the offices of the deputy commissioner and the divisional commissioner are situated beside the court.
