Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered the body of a Bangladeshi cattle trader from Rokanpur frontier area in Gomastapur upazila yesterday.
The deceased is Buruz Ali, 25, son of Nader Ali, a resident of the area.
43 BGB Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mujibur Rahman said locals spotted Buruz’s body afloat on a river of the Nagarpara Bridge area near the Indo-Bangla border around 11:30am and informed them.
There were injury marks on his eyes, the commander continued.
The family member said Buruz on Sunday entered India to fetch a haul of cattle.
