A local court yesterday sent 31 accused in the sensational Feni Fhulgazi upazila chairman Ekramul Haque murder case to jail again. Feni Senior Judicial Magistrate Alamgir Mohammad Farooqi gave the order around noon following police presented them before his court bringing from the jail as part of the case proceedings.
Fhulgazi police station OC Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the news, telling arrested main accused in the case BNP leader Mahtabuddin Chowdhury Minar would be brought back to the district from the capital soon.
On May 20, some armed miscreants gunned down Ekramul Haque, who was also president Fhulgazi upazila unit AL, and then they brutally burnt the body in his car in broad daylight in the district town.
