A case has been filed against 42 Shibir activists in connection with the recovery of a petrol bomb from Dip Manjil, a student mess at Chittagong University.
Md Ismail Hossain, officer-in-charge of Hathazari police station told the Dhaka Tribune that Sub-Inspector Shahnewaz lodged the case on Saturday night.
"The case was filed against 30 named and 12 unnamed Shibir activists including Suhrawardy Hall unit Shibir president and secretary," said the OC.
On Saturday, police recovered a petrol bomb and wooden weapons from Dip Manjil during a raid.
