Police arrested 14 leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir from Senbag upazila on Friday night.
Among 14, three are identified as—Damurua union Jamaat president Maulana Abu Bakr Siddique (1), vice-president Maulana Abu Bakr Siddique (2) and secretary Main Uddin.
Maminul Islam, officer-in-charge of Senbag Police Station said, acting on secret information, a team of police raided the house of Maulana Abu Bakr Siddique (2) around 9pm and arrested them.
