A Chhatra Dal leader was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants in Mymensingh’s Goforgaon yesterday.
Police said miscreants beat and hacked Ibne Azad Komol, Chhatra Dal general secretary of Goforgaon pourashobha, indicriminately near Goforgaon Station Road on Sunday afternoon, leaving him critically injured.
The victim was admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 12:30pm yesterday.
Goforgaon upazila Chhatra Dal President Mahibur Rahman Nasim blamed local Chhatra League goons for the murder.
