Robbers have looted three idols of a Hindu goddesses, gold ornaments and furniture from Lemua Jaladash para temple in Feni.
Officer-in-Charge of Feni model police station Mahbub Morshed said the incident took place early Sunday. The looters broke the lock of the temple and took all the valuables.
President of the temple committee Nandi Das said police did not reach the place as of 1:50pm.
The incident has created anxiety among the people of the Hindu community in the locality.
In-charge of Bogdadia police outpost, Motahar Hussain said he heard about the incident and his force was preparing to visit the spot when the report was filed.
