The members of coastguard have seized 200,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from a fishing trawler at Karnafuli river in Chittagong early Sunday.
Captain Shahidul Islam, zonal commander of coastguard, told the Dhaka Tribune that they conducted a drive at Kafco jetty area in the river around 2am.
"Sensing the presence of the coastguard, the boatmen drowned the boat and fled. Then, we found 200,000 pieces of Yaba tablets inside the boat," he added.
