BGB members have seized a truck carrying 3000 bottles of phensidyl at Badamtala area on Satkhira-Bhomra road on Thursday morning.
However, none could be detained in this connection till filing the report.
BGB 38 Battalion Commander Major Nazir Ahmed Bakshi said acting on secret information, the members of the BGB took position at Badamtala area in the morning.
At one stage of searching the vehicles, BGB members found 3,000 bottles of phensidyl in the truck. The driver and helper of the truck escaped as soon as the BGB members waved a signal to stop the truck.
The BGB commander said the process of filing a case was underway in this connection.
