Barisal police arrested two activists of Shibir, student front of Jamaat-e-Islami, from Battala area of the city on Sunday afternoon.
The arrested are Jalaluddin and Fariduddin, activists of Barisal city unit of Shibir.
Matiar Rahman, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Kotwali police station, said the Shibir activists were arrested from the procession that they brought out in Battala area protesting arrest of their central leader in Dhaka.
