Two suspected robbers injured in ‘gunfight’

Two suspected robbers have sustained bullet injuries in a "gunfight" with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Ekota Housing area of Dhaka’s Mohammadpur area. The injured could not be identified immediately, reports UNB. RAB sources said the robbers opened fire at the members of the elite force when they were conducting a drive in the area Tuesday morning. In retaliation, RAB officials fired back that left the two robbers injured. Besides, the elite force also arrested four robbers and recovered arms and ammunition from the spot.
