At least ten people were injured in a clash between two groups of Savar Jubo League over establishing supremecy and jhut (garment waste) business on Friday night.
Locals said the clash took place over the jhut business of Naz Garments Limited in Savar area .
Witnesses said a gang led by Jubo League leaders Sujon and Mozaffar attacked another Jubo League leader Adnan Ahmed, when he reached Samail area from Savar bus stand on Friday night.
The attackers had been waiting there since before.
Being attacked, Adnan Ahmed and his fellows also retaliated.
On information, Savar Model police visited the spot.
Awami League activists of Savar said there had been feud over supremecy between two groups led by Adnan and Sujon recently.
Officer-in-charge of Savar Model police station Mostafa Kamal confirmed the incident and said Adnan filed a case against seven people, including Sujon, Mojammel, Mustafa and five unidentified others.
He, howeever, said necessary action would be taken after investigation.
