Members of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested three people including an author of children literature for their alleged involvement with international children pornography.
A special drive of CID arrested Tipu Kibria, Nurul Amin Nuru and Saharul Islam from Mugda and Khilgaon area on Wednesday and early hour of Thursday.
Of the arrestees, Tipu Kibria was largely familiar as author of children literature and freelance camera person.
“Tipu allegedly play the role as a director of pornography movie and used to supply demanded porno picture from his foreign client of Germany, Australia, Saudi Arabia and United Kingdom,” said Ashraful Islam, superintendent of police of CID (Organised Crime) while addressing a media briefing at its headquarter on Thursday.
He said, Tipu was making these porn pictures only after managing the street children by TK300 to 400.
The real name of Tipu Kibria is TIM Fakruzzaman. His main profession is freelancing photography. Based on information, CID raided Tipu’s residence in the capital's Tarabag area of Khilgaon and arrested him, said Ashraful.
Getting information from Tipu, CID raided porn picture movie making studio at Mugda area of Maniknagar and arrested Nurul Islam and recovered a child victim from the possession.
Huge porn pictures, computer hard disk, video camera and 70 lubricating gel from the studio during the raid, SP Ashraful added.
