A suspected Bangladeshi money launder has been arrested by the Indian immigration police on Thursday evening.
The arrestee, Lokman Hossain, of Kagojpukur area under Benapole port police station, has been arrested with Tk 4, 00000 from no-man’s land area, port sources said.
Benapole port police and frontier sources said the arrestee went to Petrapole land port showing a fake identity card of C&F agent. The immigration police of Petrapole recovered Tk 4, 00000 searching his body on suspicion and shown him arrested.
Moniruzzaman, officer in-charge, Benapole immigration police told journalists that he heard the information of arrest of a Bangladeshi national.
