Detective Branch (DB) of police has detained a doctor with phensedyl bottles at Charpara area in Mymensingh district on Friday afternoon.
The detainee was identified as Azaj Ahmed.
Azaj was held with two bottles of phensedyl at Charpara area around 1pm.
DB police Officer-in-Charge Majedur Rahman said: “The detained doctor is a drug addict. He is working at Trishal Upazila Health Complex.”
The OC said Azaj is being interrogated at DB office.
