Police have recovered the dead body of a woman at a field in Lebutala village under Jessore sadar upazila on Friday.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Jessore Kotwali police recovered the body of an unidentified young lady aged about 30 from a field at Lebutala village under Jessore sadar upazila on Friday.
Kotwali police station Officer-in-Charge Emdadul Haque Sheikh said: “On information, police went to the spot and recovered the body in the morning.”
“The body was recovered from a jute field,” the OC said.
He said the reason behind the killing could not be known immediately.
Later, the body was sent to Jessore Medical College Hospital for post mortem examination.
